PELL CITY – Funeral Service for Jimmy O. Calhoun, age 78, will be held Wednesday, August 23 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. Clair Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from Noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Calhoun passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew & Mamie Calhoun; brothers, Ernest Calhoun, Monroe Calhoun, Billy Calhoun, Frank Calhoun; sisters, Lizzie Atkisson, Eula Mae Ford.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Calhoun; son, Rory O. (Sherry) Calhoun; daughters, Deborah (J.R.) Oden, Tammy (Hal) Sawyer; 11 grandchildren, Chris Calhoun, Candace Calhoun, Kristin Glass, Ashly Glass, Andy Oden, Alex Oden, Jackie Butler, Justin Brannon, Jared Brannon, Stacia King, Blake Sawyer; host of great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Haynes
