
John Kenneth Devaney, Jr. was born to John Kenneth Devaney, Sr. and Nancy Morris Gant on June 9, 1973. He attended the Alabama Institute for the Death and Blind (AIDB) and E.H. Gentry Technical School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Tina Devaney Brown, grandmother, Elisa Morris and grandfather, Louie Morris.
On Tuesday, December 14th, 2024, John ascended into the waiting arms of our loving savior, Jesus Christ.
He leaves to cherish his memories a son, Travis Devaney, grandmother, Mary Ann Meadows, sisters, Melania Gant Wilkerson, Rachael Gant, Carol Walker, brother, Joseph Gant and a number of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews, a special companion, Christie Scoggins of Anniston, Alabama, close friends David and Michelle Pope, David Carpenter and Eric of Anniston, Alabama.
John had much love and respect for his grandmother. He was an avid follower of Star Wars memorabilia and collector. He also enjoyed time playing the guitar.
A precious soul is gone but leaves us a lifetime of memories. John passed away at the home of his grandmother under the care of Lakeside Hospice, family and friends.
