He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Mae Weems; son, Austin Weems (Dominique); grandchildren, Atlas Weems, and Liam Graffeo; sister, Judy Guthery (James); brother Nolan Weems Jr (Judy); and mother-in-law, Laura Vinson.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jimmy N. Weems Sr. and Evelyn Williams Weems.
A graveside service will be held for Johnny on Saturday, May 31, at 11:00am at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Riverside, AL.
