Julia Love Allred

Julia is preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Virginia Love; brothers, Hershel D Love Jr. (Sharlene) and George R Love; sister, Neva Jean Hestley (Ben).

Julia is survived by her children, Jana Lee Allred Otwell (Rick), Jean Marie Allred, William Conner Allred (Missy), David Lowell Allred (DaThao); grandchildren, Wesley Richard Otwell (Holly), Zachary Arlin Otwell; great-grandchildren, Waverly Reece Otwell and Finley Wyatt Otwell. Julia is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Julia was actively involved in her local community throughout her life and was choir director at Chulafinnee and Eden Methodist Churches. She retired from Anniston Army Depot after 30 years. Julia was an animal lover, gardener and had the most beautiful row of blueberry bushes going down her driveway. She loved playing bingo at the senior center on Fridays and was also a member of many local charitable and social groups. Julia was well known for her cooking skills.

Visitation will be held at Kilgroe Funeral Home, 2219 2nd Ave North, Pell City, AL 35125 on April 4, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at Kilgroe Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 pm.
