Marilyn Davis

Marilyn I. Davis, age 93 passed away on Thursday January 16,2025. She was originally from Tarrant City, Alabama. Marilyn loved to fish and even had a “Trophy Bass” mounted and hanging on her wall. She spent many years on Lake Logan Martin with her family. During her retirement years, which were many, she enjoyed travelling the country with her beloved husband Russel and friends. They traveled all across the country from Niagara Falls to the Florida Keys, from National parks out west to Canada and Mexico and to one of her favorite places was Las Vegas. She enjoyed gambling. After her husband passed away she began taking bus trips to Mississippi and met many friends along the way. Her next adventure was moving to Oak Circle Assisted Living where she enjoyed the many activities especially Bingo, She made many friends while she was there. In her later years what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her Granddaughter and Great Granddaughter. Marilyn had a full life with many adventures even traveling to South Carolina and celebrating her 92nd Birthday with her Granddaughter and Great Granddaughter.

She was predeceased by her husband Charles Russell Davis, her parents Carl W. Callahan and Madle V. Callahan, brothers Ronald Callahan, Manuel Callahan. Step Grandson Robert Jarrett.

She is survived by her sons Randy Davis (JoAnn) Terry Davis (Charlene) Granddaughter Suzanne Boswell(Josh) Great Granddaughter Abby Davis. Brother Wesley Callahan, Step Grand Children Steve Jarrett, Shelley Cantrell, And Stacie Looms.

A visitation for Marilyn will be held Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home, 2219 2nd Ave North, Pell City, AL 351251705, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM.
