Mary Virginia Posey

Mrs. Virginia was the eldest and last surviving of the 5 beautiful Nelson girls. She was known as Mrs. V in the Riverside community. Mrs. Posey was the Business Office Manager of St. Clair Regional Hospital for over 30 years.

A memorial service will be at a later date.

Virginia is survived by her daughter Roxanne Bukacek (husband, Tom); her daughter Arabella Tatum, PhD (husband, Bill); her step son Thomas Posey (wife, Cynthia); and her step son Michael Posey.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Posey; her parents Millard and Dwight Nelson; and her 4 sisters; Ruth Nelson Hess, Juanita Nelson Weekley, Evelyn Nelson Whatley, and Jeanne Nelson Mullins.

She had 5 nieces and 2 nephews and numerous grand nieces and nephews which knew Mrs. Virginia as Aunt Gigi.
