She is survived by her daughters, Linda Abercrombie, Teresa Brazier, Arlivia Adderhold, and Robin Purdy (Grant); eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; sister, Frances Brasher; brothers, Roger Thornton (Wanda), Larry Thornton (Linda), and Jerry Thornton (Edna); and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cicero Gravette Jr; son, Robert Joseph (Joey) Gravette; father, Joseph Eugene Thornton; mother, Flossie Bess Thornton; sister, Dixie Myers; brother, Ray Thornton; and four son-in-laws.
A funeral service will be held at Kilgroe Funeral Home, located at 2219 2nd Ave North, Pell City, Alabama, 35125. The service is scheduled for January 10, 2026, starting at 10:00 am.
Pall Bearers will be Chris Abercrombie, John Brazier Jr, Jeremiah Gambrell, Bill Purdy, Brock Purdy, and Christopher Abercrombie.
