ASHVILLE - Graveside service for Richard Floyd Phillips, age 75, will be held Wednesday, September 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Trussville.
Mr. Phillips passed away Monday, September 18, 2017. He is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Diane Phillips; his parents, Martin & Annie Phillips; 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
He is survived by daughter, Diane Michelle Wear; 2 grandchildren, Jon Erik Holmes, Annie Michaela Wear; honorary granddaughter, Amy Crain; brother, Hubert Phillips; several nieces & nephews; special neighbor & friend, Tim Vandergrift; countless friends & neighbors who gave encouragement & support.
