Joy is survived by her husband of 16 years, Donald Wade Spradlin; her son Chris Shaw (Lisa) and her daughter Amy Clark (Steve); her sister Elaine Johnson and her brother Willard Johnson; her grandchildren Ray Clark (Haiden), CJ Clark, Tanner Barber (Jessica) and Logan Shaw, her great grandchildren Mason Barber and Shaw Clark and numerous other beloved family.
Joy was preceded in death by her parents James Arthur and Irene Partridge Johnson; her sister Barbara Matthews and Carolyn Alexander.
A visitation for joy will be held Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home. A lie in state will occur Monday, April 11, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Davis Chapel. A celebration of life funeral service will occur Monday, April 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Davis Chapel. An interment will occur Monday, April 11, 2022 at Beulah Cemetery.
