Family and friends may call from 10 to 11am on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the Townsend-Wood Funeral Chapel, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY, where her funeral service will take place following at 11am.
Betty was born February 24, 1936 in the Town of Potter, the daughter of the late William & Carrie Artley Wilson. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Betty enjoyed arts & crafts and playing Bingo.
She is survived by her son, Burl Keen Jr.; granddaughter, Alizabeth Keen; brother, Harold Wilson; niece, Gail Richardson; nephew, Jimmy Keen; sister-in-law, Vicki Hoose; friends, Barb Simon, Beverly Cron. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Albert Smith in May of 1993; sister’s, Doris McBride, Helen Brainard.
