
Karl was born in Geneva, NY on May 25, 1979, the son of Willy Muchler and Mary Ann (Wohlschlegel) Anderson. Karl was a member of the 1997 Graduating Class of Penn Yan High School and Boces. He was employed as the parts manager for D’Amico Chrysler Dodge and Jeep in Geneva, NY. He enjoyed working on and repairing cars and racing. Karl was a huge New York Yankees Fan and loved spending time with his family. In addition to his paternal grandparents, Wilford and Martha Muchler; he was predeceased by his brother, Kurt Michael Muchler on April 4, 2010.
Karl is survived by his loving wife, Christine; son, Logan; mother, Mary Ann (Bob) Anderson; father, Willy (Sharon) Muchler; siblings, Kevin and Marcia Muchler; maternal grandparents, Roger and Leona Wohlschlegel; mother and father-in-law, Jim and Ginger Hauf; sisters-in-law, Jennifer (Mark) Champlin and Katie Hauf; step siblings, Lydia Anderson, Adam (Paola) Wolfe, Kami (David) Byrns, and Aaron Wolfe; nephew, Corey Newton; nieces, Taylor and Lauren Champlin; and several aunts and uncles.
Friends and family may call from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the Penn Yan Bible Church, Kimball Rd., Penn Yan, NY. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at the church at 10:30 am on Friday, June 17, 2011 with the Rev. Leo Galletta officiating. Private family burial will be at the Gorham Cemetery in Gorham, New York.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to the Logan Muchler Trust Fund, c/o Ginger Hauf, 25 Grant Ave., Geneva, NY 14456.
