

Mary Lou Schuyler, 86, passed away at Geneva General Hospital on Wednesday, January 23, 2013.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church in Penn Yan, NY from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Mary Lou’s Memorial Service to follow at noon. Mary Lou was born on July 2, 1926 in Atlanta, NY to the late George & Winifred (Rex) Wallace. She worked at Soldier & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Food Service. “Mom loved to be around people and to have people around her.” Mary Lou had a gift of hospitality and enjoyed playing cards.
She is survived by her sons, Richard J. (Tina) Dixon-Bartlett, John Philip Schuyler; daughters, Shelly (Farrell) Simmons, Nancy (David) Lootens, Karen M. Schuyler; brother, George G. (Joan) Wallace; brother-in-law, Kenneth Howey; sisters-in-law, Elsie Wallace & Laura Mae Wallace; grandchildren, Heather Burse, Jonathan (Melissa) Schuyler, Melany (Godfrey) Nyahoda, Casey (Michael) Brunner, Christopher Simmons, Abigail Simmons, Kali Barnes; great grandchildren, Devon Burse Jr., Faith Burse, Aron Burse, Elyssa Burse, River Schuyler, Darris Cunningham Jr.; Baby Brunner & Baby Nyahoda; several nieces & nephews. Mary Lou was predeceased by her husband John R. Schuyler; infant son, Bruce Wallace Schuyler; sister, Elma Howey; brothers, Robert & William Wallace.
