Vivian W. Blair

Vivian Pearl Willey Blair, b. August 22, 1926 - d. August 29, 2017. She was born to Ruth (Creveling) Willey and Ernest Willey, in Portage, NY, the 3rd of 7 children. She married her high school sweetheart, Gerald E. Blair, in 1945, Geneseo NY. Together in love and faith they had four children, then came 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. After living in Pittsford, NY, Santa Barbara, CA, and Nokomis, FL, they retired to Ithaca, NY. They loved golf and the adventure of traveling the globe. Vivian loved to bake and feed her family, eat sushi, completing crossword puzzles and playing scrabble. She was an avid reader and delighted in the community of faith at Forest Home Chapel UMC and Longview Community residence.

She was predeceased by son, Randolph, husband Gerald, her parents and 3 siblings.

Memorial and celebration of life service at Forest Home Chapel, Ithaca, NY, will be held Sat., Sept 2, 2017, 4pm
