Alicia Freeman

1920 - 2011

Alicia Harriett Freeman, 91, of Pensacola, died Saturday, May 14, 2011.

Mrs. Freeman was born March 21, 1920 in Cortland, New York to Elwin Rorapaugh and Mary Kathryn Randall Rorapaugh. She began her employment with Pensacola Christian College in 1978 and retired in 1997.

Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Freeman.

Survivors include her daughter, Farra Tillotson and husband, Leslie; sons, Vincent Freeman, Kevin Freeman and James Freeman and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Gemma Gibbons, Erica Jones (Patrick), Jim Freeman, Tim Freeman (Dana), Cole Freeman, Kathy Freeman, Caleb Purdy, Cameron Purdy, Christina Lynn, Aiden Lynn, Jessica Freeman, Faye Freeman and numerous other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church with Pastor Russell Baker and Rev. Gordon Godfrey officiating.

Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2011 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Residence or to Rejoice Radio.
