She attended Escambia High School and Pensacola Junior College while working in her mother’s Circle Beauty Salon.
Ann met her match, Mark, at FSU, where she graduated in 1967 . Together they taught school in Miami, Florida and then moved to Pensacola in 1974, just before the birth of their third child.
Ann had a very successful career in real estate throughout the late 70’s and early 80’s and loved helping people find the right home. She then joined her husband working at Merrill Lynch, for 20 years, where she was an award winning stock broker and formed many life long friendships with her clients.
To her family and friends, Ann was a fiery spirit who brought the biggest holidays, the most generous gifts, the most beautiful parties, tastiest cakes and sweetest smiles. She loved fiercely and is known for being the hardest working person in any room.
Ann worked hard and played hard, spending many weekends in high speed boats and on water skis.
She truly never met a stranger, loved children, and in her 20 years of retirement loved playing tennis with friends.
When Ann was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, she fought through it with optimism and energy, defying the odds and keeping her boots on until the very end.
