We are blessed to know Betty and her wonderful family for over 40 years. She was loved by all and we will miss her beautiful smile. 

I remember the love and hospitality shared when I visited Uncle Kenneth’s and Aunt Betty’s. I remember the time y’all visited me in Southport, Florida. That was special. I remember my son Tim chasing a goat so he could ride it.  And watching home movies. Aunt Betty was a blessing to me and my children.  Uncle Kenneth you and your family are in my prayers.  We love you. Stephanie, Jack and family.

Mrs.Rogers, what a sweet woman. She was mine and my brothers babysitter as children.I remember my long stringy hair drove her crazy! She would set me in her room with brush and mirror and tell me to stay in there until I somehow styled my hair! Well, im still not much for hairstyling, but great memories, and wonderful meals prepared for my brother, bachelor dad and myself. As her grandson my fond memories of my grandma was looking forward to the weekends after a long week of school. I spent most of my youth at my grandparents house, where I knew that I would have a "home" cooked meal waiting for me. One of my favorite meals that my grandma would fix for me was her famous red beans and rice with cornbread and sweet tea.  Serving here in Afghanistan, I will unfortunately not be able to attend her services but will carry with me the final day this past March I got to kiss her on the forehead and tell her in her ear I Love You Grandma and her response to me "twice" was I Love You.

We will miss Aunt Betty. Going to Uncle Kenneth’s and Aunt Betty’s in Florida were some of my favorite childhood memories. I’m so blessed I got to pass some of those same memories to my children. Their love story is my favorite. Praying for my Uncle Kenneth. We love this family with our whole hearts. 

Betty was (still is) my beloved wife for over 73 years.  She will forever live in my
heart.  The last few years of her life were not the best for her but still at the end
she said "I'm OK as long as I'm with Kenneth," as she often said during our 73.
