Billy Renfroe

Billy V. Renfroe 83, a lifelong Pensacolian, died May 06, 2013.

He is survived by his daughters, Perrie Renfroe Edgar and husband, Jerry and Sally Renfroe Pugh and husband, Mickey; son, Paul V. Renfroe; grandchildren, Jessica Pugh, Lee Pugh and wife, Alaina, and Miabella Renfroe; great grandchildren, Brice and Parker Pugh.

His beloved wives, Mary Charles Renfroe, mother of his children, and Carey Renfroe, predeceased him.

Mr. Renfroe was a strong Christian and longtime deacon at First Baptist church of Pensacola.

He was an all-state basketball player, graduating with honors from Pensacola High School in 1948. He earned an athletic scholarship and a degree from the University of Mississippi.

Mr. Renfroe was employed for years at Gulf Power and later went into banking, where he served with distinction as a vice president and trust officer.

Services will be in Pleitz Chapel at Pensacola First Baptist Church with visitation on Saturday the 11 day of May 2013 at 12:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service one hour later.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be made to First Baptist Church, Samaritan Hands, 500 N. Palafox Street, Pensacola, FL 32501 or to a charity of your choice.
