

Blanche Williams “Boots” Ables of Pace, Florida left this world to walk with the Lord on July 4, 2022 while in Sacred Heart Hospital. Blanche was under the Care of Covenant Hospice and passed while in the presence of family members.
Blanche, the oldest of three daughters of Lonnie and Annie Lee Williams of Troy, Alabama married Albert P. Ables on June 6, 1948 who preceded her in death February 25th, 2004. Her sister Betty Jean Leverette also preceded her in death while her sister Linda Fuqua resides in North Carolina. While residing in Troy, she pursued a career in nursing which she enjoyed greatly and went back to school while in Pensacola and graduated the nursing program at Pensacola Junior College.
Over the course of their time in Troy she and her husband started a family that survives her today. Those survivors are: Vicki Fletcher of Pensacola, FL, Rebekah Wallace of Annapolis, MD, Melody Keith of Pace, FL, William A. “Bo” Ables of Pace, FL and Deborah Hamilton of Ft. Worth, TX. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Blanche had been an active member of Wallace Baptist Church and enjoyed teaching Sunday school and learning about the Lord.
Blanches favorite past times were enjoying her life as a wife, home maker and grandmother.
