Charles Edward Lynn Jr.

Charles E. Lynn, Jr. of Pensacola, FL passed away on May 5, 2026, at the age of 85. He was born on October 25, 1940, in Birmingham, AL to Charles and Velma Lynn. Charles was married to Patricia Lynn (Cooper) for 61 years.

He worked in the field of Instrumentation/electrical. He traveled all over the world doing what he loved. He was actively involved in church and loved camping with his family.

He was preceded in death by Charles Edward Lynn, Sr (father), Velma Lynn (mother), Patricia Lynn (his lovely wife) and Rhett Lynn (great-grandson).

He is survived by his children, son Edward Lynn (Sharon); daughter Meshelle England (Craig); and son Steve Lynn (Tonya). He is also survived by his grandkids, Chris Belew (Courtney), Joshua Lynn (Christina), Chase Lynn (Ashley), Zach Lynn (Stephanie), Kayla McCarragher (Corey), Tristin Lynn and Addyson Lynn; and great grandkids, Eli Lynn, Logan Lynn, Nixon McCarragher, Harper Lynn, Knox McCarragher, Ellie Lynn, Lakely McCarragher, Finnley McCarragher, Eslie Lynn and baby boy Belew arriving in August.

The family would like to thank Shelia Kingery for the care and compassion she showed our loved one in his last year and a half.

We would also like to thank Candace and Tonya with VITAS hospice for the care and compassion they provided for the past one and a half years.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed immediately by a Celebration of Life from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home at 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534 on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

A Committal Service will take place at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 325349377, US, on May 16, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
