Chris grew up and resided in Evansville, Indiana for most of his life. He graduated from Memorial High School in 1978. He worked over thirty years as a Medical Sales Representative/Henry Shein and loved his job immensely. Chris enjoyed fishing, camping, softball, coin collecting, and bowling. He was also a R.O.M.E.O. (Retired Old Men Eating Out) in the Pensacola Chapter. He took pride in yard work and had a talent for landscape. Chris was known mostly for his contagious laugh, quick wit, and charming personality.
Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Dana Purdy. He is survived by his wife Brenda, his step children, Danny and Penny Goodman, David and Tia Goodman, and Frank and Brittney Giammaria, his father, Mike Purdy, his brothers, Dan and Nancy Purdy and Jeff and Teresa Purdy, grandchildren, Selah, Isaiah, and Dylan Goodman, Enzo and Rocco Giammaria, and his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held in his honor for family and friends at Acropolis on Sunday, March 17th, noon to 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Tri-State Food Bank, 801 E Michigan St, Evansville, IN 47711.
