Born in California, David was raised in Pensacola Florida, where he built both a life and a legacy. He spent much of his career working in construction, known for his strong work ethic and fun-loving lifestyle.
David had a deep love for Harleys, good company, and cheering on the Florida Gators. He lived life on his own terms, full of grit, heart, and humor.
He is survived by his daughter Allyson Kominsky, granddaughters Hailey Matteson and Katelyn Freitag, siblings Mary Harding, John Kominsky, Robin Niedzwiecki and Jill Cohen, all of whom will carry his memory forward with love, pride, and laughter.
He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Mary Louise Kominsky, and brother Lee Kominsky, whose memories he held dear.
A visitation for David will be held Friday, August 1, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534. A funeral service will take place at 12:00 PM with a committal immediately following.
