Dolores A. Meyer

She was born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania and was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Dorothy(Huth) Chiccini. She resided in Pensacola for the past 52 years. She was proud to be a military spouse, dedicated wife, loving mother of six and a sweet friend to many. She retired from the Escambia County's Tax Collectors office in August 1994 after 26 years of faithful service and was a long time member of Little Flower Catholic Church.

Married twice, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Joseph "Jack" Winter.

Survivors include her husband, Don Meyer, three sons and daughters-in law: Michael Winter of St Petersburg, Fla, Keith Winter (Patty) of Canton, Ga., Alan Winter (Paula)of Hampton, TN.; three daughters and sons-in-law: Carol Fries (Ken) of Silver Creek, Ga., Janet Stone(Neal) of Naples, Fla., and Patricia Stader; three step daughters and sons-in-law: Cynthia Clarkson of Pensacola, Linda Skytte (James) of Pensacola, Diane Best (Tom) of Atlanta; two sisters, Rita Zelonis of McLean, Va. and Dorothy Homa of Pottsville, Pa, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 am Thursday, April14, 2016 at Little Flower Catholic Church with Father Eugene Casserly celebrating Mass. Burial will be in Barrancas National Cemetery at 11:45

Friends may join the family at OAK LAWN FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, April 13 from 6-8 pm. There will be a Rosary at 6pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice in Pensacola in thanks for the excellent care that they provided.
