Mrs. Downs was born January 02, 1934 in Brown County, Ohio to Russel M. Kelch and Carolina Winkle Kelch. She moved to Pensacola in 2004 from Tampa, Florida and is a member of Gulf Coast Christian Church. She is a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Hugh Kelch.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph W. Downs; sons, Ken Downs and wife Joanne, Keith Downs and wife Tiphane; grandchildren, Sheila, Shoni, Peter, Kevin, Nick and Tyler; great grandchildren, Hannah, Austin, Madison and Vivian; great great grandchild, Riley.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 20, 2016 at Gulf Coast Christian Church, 590 E. Burgess Rd. with Rev. Andy Pauwels officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 19, 2016 at the funeral home.
