Fran was born June 30, 1947 in Corpus Christi, TX. Born the daughter of Pedro Hernandez Perez and Elida Gutierrez Perez.
She married Craig Davis on September 3, 1976. They were devoted to each other for 45 wonderful years.
Fran retired from the Pensacola News Journal with over 20 years of service in advertising. She then went on to work for Cracker Barrel, where she enjoyed meeting new people and building friendships with her coworkers. She was a hard worker and earned all four stars.
What made her the happiest was spending time with her family. She enjoyed going to the beach to collect shells, floating down the river (or across the river to camp), and hiking to water falls in the mountains. She also enjoyed crocheting, and doing arts and crafts. However, Fran’s greatest joy was spoiling her grandchildren!
Fran had sense of humor with a beautiful soul that was contagious to be around. Her light will forever shine.
She is survived by her husband, Craig Davis, Daughters; Kimberly (Asa) Cuellar, Kerry (Cody) Brown. Sisters; Aurora Burkhalter, Rosa Elva Botello, Rosa Linda Flores. Grandchildren; Alexis Harris, Kylan Buring, Jaiden Harris, Kaleb Whitehead, Adam Cuellar, Jace Brown, Olivia Brown. Great Grandchildren; Sophia Kyle and Alayah Harris. Also, Matt Ivey for always being like a son. We would like to acknowledge the eternal love for Fidel Perez, Hector Perez, and Sylvia Jimenez.
She was preceded in death by her parents Pedro and Elida Perez. Brothers; Pedro (Pete) Perez, Jr and Reynaldo (Ray) Perez, Sisters; Maria Champagne, Minerva (Minnie) Perez, Tillie Lambert, Elida (Edie) Penn, Juanita (Janie) Loftin, Guadalupe (Hope) Moreno, Ernestina (Tina) Stull.
The family of Fran wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Crystal Ivey (niece) for helping with around the clock care, and for her love and continued support. We would like to recognize Stephanie Lewis from Regency Hospice for the exceptional care and support she provided. Also, to Pastor Irving Moody for always being a phone call away. There was a special bond that was built early on between him and Fran. He has helped bring peace and comfort in her final days. We will forever be grateful for his prayers and dedication. We are honored to have Pastor Moody deliver the upcoming eulogy.
