Gerry Smith

Gerry Smith, 96, a lifelong resident of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025. She was born to parents, David Maxwell and Berney Dean Clark. Gerry was raised in the Presbyterian Church and remained strong in her faith til the very end. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Pensacola, FL. Growing up, Gerry attended and graduated from PHS in 1946. After her schooling, she quickly developed her career in the telecommunications industry, working for BellSouth & AT&T as an Operator. She retired from AT&T over 40 years later, working in Marketing Advertisement.

Gerry is preceded in passing by her husband, Glenn A. Smith; her son, Glenn A. Smith Jr.; and two sisters, Sybil Henton and Doris Dungan. She is survived by her son, Berney Smith; grandchildren, Glenn Smith III, Ben Smith, Rebekah Smith and Monique Queen-Smith; great-grandchildren, Sawyer Smith, Finn Smith, and Andrew Queen-Smith; as well as a daughter-in-law, Karen Smith.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Gerry's name to Trinity Presbyterian Church, Pensacola, FL. A graveside service for Gerry will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 from 10:00 AM at Bayview Memorial Park, 3351 Scenic Highway 90e, Pensacola, FL 32503.
