Glen Roger King

Glen Roger King, a resident of Pensacola, Florida, born September 8, 1934 passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024. Born to his late parents Wheeler and Mamie Lee, Glen was a longtime member of East Brent Baptist Church. He also proudly served his country in the Marine Corps.

Glen was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a tremendous athlete in his youth and enjoyed playing golf throughout much of his life. He excelled in woodworking and spent his free time making various furniture pieces that filled his home. His greatest gift was his devoted love to his wife Joyce who he was married to for nearly 62 years. He is now reunited with her in Heaven.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Loyd Winston King; daughter, Kelly Lynn King ; and wife, Joyce Monza Vaughn King.

He is survived by his 3 children, Teri King Miller (Ken), Gary Glen King (Leah), Shane Roger King (Jackie); 7 grandchildren, Justin Tyler Miller, Tucker Jordan Miller, Kendall Brooke Miller, Madalyn Paige King, Conner Vaughn King, Griffin Parker King, Mallory Brigid King; sister, Hilda King Fair (Cleve); sister-in-law, Barbara Toro; sister-in-law, Dorothy Vaughn and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A private ceremony will be held to honor his incredible life and the love that he shared.
