Jack was a United States Navy Veteran and retired from the Department of Defense as an ordinance specialist. He loved woodworking, stamp collecting, baseball (was an avid Chicago Cubs fan), reading suspense novels, comics and spending time with his great nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Henry Belder.
Survivors include his mother, Ann Belder of Pensacola, FL; his son, Nicholas G. (Shweta) Belder of San Diego, CA; his daughter, Caitlin Belder-Wood (Tim); his sisters, Edith Belder-Eslava (Norman) of Foley, AL; and Brigitta Kelley of Robertsdale, AL; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 6 PM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Tavener officiating. Jack will have military honors.
