James John “Whitey” Gramlich went to heaven to be with the Lord on Friday, October 31st. Beloved husband of 70 years to Violet Gramlich; loving father to 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
He was a distinguished Naval Aviator whose career spanned 26 years. With a second career at Sears and his involvement with the Senior Softball League of Pensacola, he leaves behind many wonderful friends and memories.
He will always be remembered as a “Gentleman’s gentleman.” You will never be forgotten, we love you Dad!”
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant Hospice Inpatient and Palliative Care Center of West Florida Hospital.
A visitation will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home on Monday, November 10, 2014 from 8:00-9:00am with the memorial service beginning at 9:00am.
