Jean Ramsey

Jean attended Pensacola Junior College Nursing School and held a career as a nurse for over 60 years in Orthopedic Surgery and Ophthalmology. She was a proud member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for over 51 years, and a member of Olive Baptist church for over 30 years. Jean dedicated much of her time to God and acts of service, and enjoyed her years in choir and her Joy Sunday School Class.

She is survived by one sister, Doris Wesson of Fayetteville, Alabama; three children, Debbie Ramsey Hanks, Scott Ramsey (Becca), and Stephanie Ramsey Yousefi (Shawn); four granddaughters, Ana Justine Yousefi Cohen (Dan), Jamie Gramatica (Jay), Danielle Yousefi Gilman (Nick), and Jacqline Yousefi; four great grandchildren, Liam Stephen Gilman, Logan Shawn Gilman, Jameson Deuce Gramatica, and Nessa Rose Gramatica; and several great nieces and nephews.

Thank you to the amazing Pruitt staff for their love and caring over the past year.

A funeral service for Jean will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 12, 2023 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway, Pensacola, FL 32503. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
