Jerry Lynn LaFleur

Jerry L. LaFleur, 65, of Pensacola passed away Thursday, February 9th, 2012. Jerry was born in Pensacola, Florida and was a lifelong resident. He worked as a machinist at Pensacola NAS, NARF and NADEP and later retired as a toolmaker in 1994. He is a Vietnam veteran who proudly served his country. He was an avid gardener and a skilled fisherman. He was preceded in death by his father Alfred LaFleur and mother Myrtle Olivia Bunyett LaFleur. He is survived by his sister Elaine L. Hoffman and twin sister Judith Schultz, his niece Julie D. Gilley, nephews Brian H. Schultz and Mark L. Schultz and his wife Heather Schultz, cousin Linda Cummings, and grand niece and nephew Caroline Gilley and Owen Gilley. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 14th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm and funeral service Wednesday February, 15th at 9:00am at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Curry officiating. Burial to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Covenant Hospice or The American Cancer Society.
