Mr. Stringer is preceded in death by his parents, Luke and Bernice Stringer, two sisters, Diane and Janice Stringer, one brother, William Earl Stringer, two nephews, E.J. Stringer and Preston Luke Stringer, and one niece, Chrystal Dunaway.
He is survived by two sons, Wayne (Rhonda) Stringer, of Atmore, Alabama and Shawn (Wendy) Stringer, of Stapleton, Alabama. He has 4 grandchildren, Brittany (Corey) Singleton, of Stockton, Alabama, Kevin (Miranda) Stringer, of Lucedale, Mississippi, Clay (Laura) Stringer, of Satsuma, Alabama and Alex Stringer of Pensacola ,Florida.
Mr. Stringer had four great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. He is survived by one brother, Johnny (Cathy) Stringer, of Cantonment Florida and one sister, Joyce (Clyde) Hughes, of Molino, Florida.
Mr. Stringer,in his younger days enjoyed Cattle Farming and looked forward to Springtime when he could plant his Garden and in the summertime pick the vegetables that he had grown. He was a loving father, grandfather ,brother and friend.
A visitation for Jimmy will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534 followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 pm. Mr. Jimmy will be laid to rest at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.
