John M. “Mitch” Glass, 41, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016. He was born in New Iberbia, LA to Stewart D. Glass and Beverly F. Anderson. In 2000 he moved to Pensacola, FL from Statesboro, GA. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and also a graduate of the University of West Florida. Mitch was a mortgage loan specialist at Navy Federal Credit Union. He married his wife Rachael on November 15, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Rachael, his 3 children that he loved; Jacob T, Haley D, and Alexis Glass and one brother Michael Glass.
A visitation will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 10-11 am with a funeral service at 11 am. An interment will immediately follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation at gofund.com/mitchglass for his three children’s college funds.
