Emma Laura Gresham Rigliano was born in 1919 in Akron, Alabama. She was a one-of-a-kind woman. She began putting herself through college while working at the United States Treasury Department during WWII. She returned to Tuscaloosa, AL after the war to further her studies. There she met my dad, Felix Rigliano.
I cannot say this too much: My mother was a strong and VERY intelligent woman and gave me and my brother more than most could or would. We would not be the people we are today without the support of the woman who said…”You can do anything you want.” She showed, told me there are NO limits and she was right, not just for me but for all people.
She was predeceased by her parents, Lillibell and Bert Gresham, her husband, Felix Rigliano, her brother Ricard Gresham and her son-in-law Richard Reardon.
