Mrs. Fran Lake was born on January 3, 1935 to MaeBell and Lonnie Crutchfield in Pensacola, Florida. She went to her heavenly home to join her husband of fifty four years, Stanley Lake Jr., on March 17, 2023.
Fran was a surgical nurse at D.W. McMillan Hospital, in Brewton, Alabama from 1977 until she retired in 1998.
Fran loved to travel and she and Stan sold their home in Jay, Florida and started traveling, full time with their fifth wheel camper in tow. They saw the USA before Stan’s death in 2007.
Fran is survived by her daughter Kim Grayson (Tony); son, Kevin Lake; daughter, Kristie Smith (Tim); grandchildren, Jeremy, Kaylene, Laura (Will), and Katherine; as well as three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel officiated by Rev. Tim Smith. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Friday.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
