Margaret "Peggy" Ann Daly Moore

1928 – 2012

Margaret “Peggy” Moore, 83, of Lillian, Alabama died Wednesday, February 08, 2012. She was a loving wife for 64 years and a wonderful mother.

Margaret was born June 04, 1928 in Springfield, Massachusetts to Thomas Edward Daly and Margaret Ann Dovey Daly. Margaret moved to Mayfield in 1964 when her husband, Ned, retired from the U.S. Navy, where they lived until moving to Lillian in 2000. She enjoyed camping, boating, and fishing. She and Ned visited all 50 states. While in Mayfield, Margaret and Ned were members of St . Joseph’s Catholic Church. Margaret was a proud Navy Wife.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Ned Moore of Lillian, AL; sons, Michael Justin Moore of Soldotna, AK and Richy Moore of Paducah, KY; daughter, Debbie Watson of McMurray, PA; and three grandchildren, Tres Watson, Sara Watson and Daly Moore.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 5041 N. 12th Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32504.
