Mrs. Wheeler was born August 21, 1926 in Bessemer, Alabama to Reuben Charlie Burnette and Ethel Mae Carroll Burnette.
She is survived by her husband, John “Joe” Allen Wheeler; children, Margaret Ann (Del) Jones, Carol Sue (John) Meyer, Wanda Faye (Terry) Pennington, John Allen Wheeler, Jr. and Anna Louise (Jeff) Fair; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, April 02, 2016 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Brother Gordon Dillashaw officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
