Marie went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 21, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-seven years, Marion L. (Sonny) Price.
Marie was born in Mobile, Alabama on January 25, 1932, to Annie Mae King Wright and Andrew Jackson Wright. She attended Robert E. Lee and Oakdale Elementary schools, Baron Academy and graduated from Murphy High School in June 1949. She married Marion L. (Sonny) Price in February 1950. She was employed by Metzger Bros. Inc. in Mobile until going to the Panama Canal Zone for two years where Sonny was stationed in USMC Coco Solo CZ. She moved to Jacksonville, North Carolina when Sonny was transferred and was employed by Jones-Onslow Electric for two years. She moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1956 when Sonny was transferred to the Pensacola Naval Station and was employed by Charlie Wilkerson Gas Co. for 18 years and Martines Corporation for 48 years until her retirement at the age of 92 in 2024. Marie is survived by her two sons: Bo Price and Richard G. Price (Shirley); six grandchildren: Cassie Gilmore (Zac), Jacob Price (Bonnie), Maggie Christiansen, Allison Gersonde (Griffin), Dylan Price (Andrea), and Clair Martinez (Ernie); and twelve great-grandchildren: Hunter and Hannah Hall, Nick Matt and Jason Christiansen, Parker, Carter and Hudson Price, Elliott and Owen Price, Lily and Lawson Gersonde.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother and two brothers: James Allbritten and John Brown. She was a member of Milestone Baptist Church (formerly First Missionary Baptist) since 1958.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway, Pensacola, FL, with a funeral service to follow immediately after.
