Marie Purdy

1933 – 2011

Marie E. Purdy, 78, of Pensacola, went to be with her Eternal Lord on Monday, April 18, 2011.

Marie was born March 26, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Alexander and Elizabeth Holland Jablonski. She was a member of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Corydon (CP) Purdy; children, William, Robin and Beth; brother, Robert Jablonski and sister, Joan Wardick.

Survivors include her son, Corydon Purdy (Becky) of Pensacola; granddaughter, April Lassiter; two great grandson, Dillon and Hayden; sisters and brothers, Betty Zollo, Alexander Jablonski (Bertha) and William Jablonski (Rosalie); and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2011 at St. Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Douglas Halsema as celebrant.

Inurnment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
