Dr. Mark Reese peacefully slipped away on July 3rd, 2023. Mark graduated from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in 1982. He completed residencies at Duke University Medical Center. Mark and his family lived primarily in Alabama and Florida where he practiced.
Mark loved the people of his world and had a passion to heal them through medicine and laughter. He loved his family more than words can convey. He played football at The University of Alabama and avidly followed his team, rallying his family and friends, throughout his life. He enjoyed literature, outdoor hobbies, and traveling.
Born on July 25th, 1955, Doc has many surviving family members: his wife Holly Reese; children Catherine Reese, Mark Reese (wife Elizabeth Rodgers), and Kelly Reese; grandchildren David, Ben, Aurora, Lorelei, James, and Jack; brothers Greg Reese (wife Lauri Reese), David Reese (wife Renee’ Reese), and Chris Reese (wife Laura Reese); and extended family. He wishes you good health and happiness.

A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 10, 2023, at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.
