1927-2018
Mary Jones, 90, passed away on January 12, 2018 in Pensacola. She was born in Newark, Ohio to Alfred and Mary (Sams) Brown in 1927 and moved to Pensacola in 1992.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Brink; a daughter, Susan E. Jones; brothers: Russell Taff, James Brown and Alfred Brown; and sisters: Jean Mohler, Betty Basela, Nancy Stalnaker and Marge Snider. She is survived by her two sons: Dr. James A. (Cherry) Jones, PhD and Alfred D. Jones, daughter Mary A. Jones II, nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
Mrs. Jones was employed by the Escambia School System, was a member of Wessco Senior Citizen Center and a life member of VFW Lodge Auxiliary. She attended Charity Chapel.
Friends are cordially invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home.
