Mary Rachael Parris Thomas. Born April 29, 1928, in DuBois, Pennsylvania and died June 10, 2024 in Pensacola where she resided since leaving Pennsylvania in 1983. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Parris, Sr. mother Pearl Parris, and brother, Warren Parris, Jr.
Mary is survived by her daughter Connie (Ron) Lake, grandchildren Rick (Anna) Martz, Ronnie Martz, Teri (Nicholas III) Coblio and Cory (Michelle) Lake. She also had 3 great granddaughters, 1 great grandson and 1 great great grandson. Mary graduated high school in 1945. She was employed by Goodrich making golf balls and Brockway Glass Plant I, although she had a long career as homemaker. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ all her life. When she lived at Westminster Village in the 80’s and 90’s she played piano for the community’s weekly church service.
A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway, Pensacola, Florida, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM.
Mary will be laid to rest in Bayview Memorial Park, Pensacola, Florida.
