My fond memories of Cholly began when I was first introduced to her at a Molino Homakers meeting in 2014. Right from the start she rushed over to me when she learned I was a retired Escambia District teacher. From that moment on she " harassed" me to join  EEA for retirees, which I eventually did later that year. We laugh about her "harassing"  as that was how she  would describe our friendship to anyone we met together. Most definitely , Cholly was all about her love for kids and teaching profession ! However, teaching wasn't all we shared. We enjoyed our monthly Homemaker  meetings and  Cholly always had a story or joke to bring laughter out. I was happily surprised for her to be a new bride at 82 and I rolled with laughter at her recounting their Biloxi experience. Notice the recurring theme of our relationship is laughter. That is what I will miss most about Cholly. Her pleasantness, her love for helping the children of Escambia County and the LAUGHS we shared. Her children and grandchildren I know  have so many happy memories to cherish and share about Cholly.  To her much treasured new love, Charles, I hope the short time you were together brought you as much happiness as Cholly said it did for her. 

My sister Beverly Perry,Luciano loved Mrs Cholly I had the opportunity to meet Mrs Cholly when my sister Beverly passed away.My whole family and my sisters two son we got there a hour after my sister passed away .The next day my family and my sisters two sons left.I was left by myself to handle everything .I was so stressed out my sister had no insurance. Mrs Cholly being the sweet lady she is came over to my sisters house and sat down with me.She said Now Karen don,t let this stress you out everything will work out just pray about it and she took my hand and prayed with me.Cholly and my Sister were in Milona Homemakers together.She told me she love my sister like a daughter.I had no way of getting around Mrs Cholly would come pick me up and take me where I needed to go.we went to lunch toghther and she told me so many stories about her life .She was the kindest and most sweeties lady I ever meet..I love you Mrs Cholly RIP. To Mrs Chollys family have peace knowing she rest well with God.
