Maude Weeks, 92, of Pensacola, died Tuesday, February 07, 2012 at her home.
Maude was born September 15, 1919 in Vance, Mississippi to Joseph Weeks, Sr. and Maude Matilda Weeks. Maude spent a lifetime serving others in the name of the Lord. She served through her church in the foreign mission fields and in various community groups. Maude continued her service into her nineties. She was recognized as Volunteer of the Year in Santa Rosa County.
Maude was preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Weeks, Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca Watson and Marie Menges and her husband Bill; brother, Joe Weeks; grandsons, Erick Parkerson, Daniel Watson and David Watson.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Pastor Joe Prestridge officiating.
Entombment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., Sunday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Barry and Desma Abbott, World Team Missionaries.
