Bettie and I are so sorry for the loss of our Aunt Nettie Opal. We enjoyed many a good visit with her and Uncle Dewey and family at Mama Addie's and my Mom and Dad, Dafford and Peggy's house. You are in our thoughts and prayers, as we celebrate her home going to Heaven.

I am so sorry for your loss. Nettie Opal was a very sweet lady. She will really be missed, but she will be spending Christmas with Jesus and many loved ones that were waiting on her in Heaven. She came to several of the Cannon Family Reunions. It was truly a joy to know her. She has left a lot of memories for you to cherish. May God bless you as you celebrate her life and especially as you face the coming days without her. We can take comfort in knowing that we will see her again.

I remember with great joy the visits with Pat & Dewey at their home.  The laughter and the love they extended left lifelong impressions on who I am.
  One of the funniest discussions we got into was when I couldn't find Pat in the hospital and the hospital's policy to not give out information just because I didn't know her 'real' first name.  When I found her I said, "How did you get Pat out of Nettie Opal?
   God blessed many of us when He orchestrated our paths to cross with Pat and Dewey on this wonderful journey we are on together.  I'm thankful they they were a big part in my life and I take joy in knowing we were such friends.
   I look forward to the day we have the reunion Pat is already experiencing with Dewey, family and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Love y'all!
