Patricia Diane Lysek

Patricia (Diane) Lysek, Age 76, passed away on May 8, 2025. Diane was born on August 12, 1948, in Escambia County. At age 51, she met the love of her life, John E. Lysek, and they were married on August 4, 2001.

Diane loved coffee in morning and cappuccino in the evening. She loved fishing and spending time on the water. Diane loved animals definitely her pets. She also enjoyed working in the garden, and any plant would flourish with her care. She was the kindest soul who could touch the heart of any person she met.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Lela Mae Parker and Marlowe Lex Bracewell. She is survived by her husband, John Lysek (75); two daughters, Valorie (Gabriel) Thompson and Kymberli (Larry) Pettus; and four grandchildren, Bronwen Thompson, Logan Thompson, Jada Lysek, and Luke Lysek.

Diane, we love you and you will be missed so much. Rest in peace.

At Oak Lawn Funeral Home, private family visitation is from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., public visitation is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., and the funeral service is from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m.

After the funeral service, we will proceed to Barrancas National Cemetery for her committal service.
