“Papaw” is how we knew my grandfather. His smile and silly humor would light up a room. I have such great memories that I’ll cherish forever growing up as a young boy. I can remember being so excited about going to spend the endless nights with my grandparents.  Both Papaw and my grandmother were such a huge part of our lives growing up and later on a huge part in my kids lives as great grandparents.  He was such a wonderful husband to my grandmother and really loved her unconditionally throughout there entire life together.  I honestly can’t remember one cross word between the two of them. Papaw lost my grandmother in 2002 and I can remember how lost he was without her until he met Zoe. It was like his life started all over again.  Papaw gained an entire new family that loved and cherished him so much. Even though I lost touch with Papaw over the last years I knew in my heart that he was cherished and loved very much.  For this I will be forever grateful to Zoe, Mark and Kevin and Mike!  Papaw will be forever missed but I know without a doubt he is smiling down on us all!  

I loved visiting with Andy and Zora . Andy would sing for me because he knew I enjoyed his singing.  He was Always smiling and was so sweet .
