

A Celebration of Life service in Pensacola will be held at Gadsden Street Methodist Church on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., located at 901 East Gadsden Street, Pensacola, Florida 32501.
Dr. Boyett was born on January 20, 1940, in Pensacola, Florida. He attended Pensacola High School and went on to pursue higher education at Emory University, where he completed his undergraduate studies. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
Dr. Boyett proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a medical officer aboard the USS Lexington Aircraft Carrier, based out of Pensacola, Florida. His service reflected a lifelong commitment to care, responsibility, and leadership.
Following his military service, Dr. Boyett established a private medical practice in Kendall, Florida, where he served the community for more than 45 years. A respected and dedicated physician, he was widely recognized for his strong leadership, integrity, and compassion. He was a founder of the Femwell and Vital MD organizations and served as President for many years. Throughout his career, he cared for generations of patients and earned the admiration of colleagues and staff alike.
A man of quiet and steadfast faith, Dr. Boyett trusted deeply in God's goodness and grace. While never one to seek attention for his beliefs, his faith was evident in the way he lived-through humility, kindness, and a lifelong dedication to serving others.
Bob-lovingly known as Dad and Papa-is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Boyett, and his children: Robert Boyett Jr. (Carlene), Chris Boyett (Kristine), Stephanie Boyett, and Timothy Boyett (Kristal); twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and another great-grandchild on the way.
