Robert E Hodge, Sr., 85, of Pensacola, Fla. passed away Monday, December 30,2013 at The Health Center of Pensacola. Born in Brewton, Alabama, Aug.25, 1928, Robert enjoyed the outdoors, he loved fishing and camping. He also loved to write short stories. During the Korean Conflict, Robert served in the U. S. Army. He was employed by the Department of Defense as an accountant. Robert worked his last years at Naval Air Station Pensacola until his retirement in 1995.He is survived by one son, Robert E. Hodge Jr. of Cambridge, Maryland. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 06, 2014 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
