Rosa Elizabeth Grabowski

Rosa Elizabeth Grabowski, age 91, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Saturday February 23, 2019. She was born October 16, 1927 in Bugaba, Chiriqui, Republic of Panama to Rafael and Cleotilde Aizprua. Rosa grew up and lived in Panama until 1978 when she moved to Pensacola, Florida.

Rosa's passions were her flower garden, sewing and making costumes and dresses for her children and grand children, cooking for her family, arts and crafts (especially at Christmas time) and her toy poodle, Champagne.

Rosa is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 44 years, Edward S. Grabowski; son Carlos E. Grabowski; a son-in-law Eliud Torres; and two sisters Zoila and Celestina Amaya. She is survived by daughters Elizabeth Torres and Rosalinda (Jorge) Gonzalez; brothers Maximino and Santos Amaya; sisters Vincenta Camarena, Modesta Amaya, and Andrea Amaya; grand children Eliud E. Torres, Ney E. Torres, Eric E. Torres, Yasmin Gonzalez, Christina Vong, Elizabeth Tkach, and Angelica C. Gonzalez; and great grand children Daniel Torres, Branden Torres, Eric L. Torres, Nathan Torres, Jacob Torres, Cyrus T. Farthing, Victor Vong, and Jayce Tkach.

A visitation for Rosa will be held Monday, March 4, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, FL 32506, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM. A graveside service will occur Monday, March 4, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Rd., Pensacola, FL 32508, followed by a reception back at Oak Lawn.
