Words from my beloved wife and soul mate.
I was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. I have three children, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. My husband’s name is Richard.
I was the food and beverage manager for the Ramada Inn for 10 years. I have also worked as an express mail carrier. I have lived in many parts of the country from time to time and also in Norway. I have developed an appreciation for the many cultures and peoples I have met. Currently I am a volunteer for the St Vincent DePaul Society and am the coordinator for their thrift store.
I am an active member of St. Mary’s church. I belonged to the Krewe of Aphrodite and participate in the Mardi Gras and Fiesta parades in Pensacola. I play billiards in the R.C.O. Memorial pool league and am captain for the team. I also play in the Gulf Coast Mixed Couples league with my husband. I belong to the Pensacola Beach Boat Club, the Woman of The Moose, Maids of Luna and the American Legion Auxiliary.
I do workouts in water aerobics two to three times a week. I participate in the Pensacola senior games yearly in Pool and BOCCO ball, I even wanted to play softball but my husband wouldn’t buy me a glove. I enjoy traveling, camping and fishing. We travel out west every year, since Richard is from Nevada, and visit the State and National Parks. We have taken trips to Cancun and while on a cruise to Cozumel I did a comedy routine in a talent contest.
Rose is survived by her husband Richard, three daughters Debra (Billy) Parker, Donna (Don) Crump, Nannette (Scott) McDonald, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
